The French organic cosmetics certification Ecocert has adorned Rudolph Care since the beginning in 2008. Ecocert is a French-founded organic certification used in more than 80 countries across the globe.

Products labelled with Ecocert must declare the percentage of organic ingredients. Ecocert has two product certifications; one certifies “natural” products and specifies that a minimum of 5% of the ingredients must be organic. The other certifies organic products, where at least 10% of the ingredients must be organic and at least 95% natural substances. Rudolph Care products belong to the latter group and are certified organic by Ecocert.

In 2015, Ecocert became part of the Europe-wide organic standard, COSMOS. The purpose of the cooperation is to create transparency and make it easier for consumers to understand requirements and labels. Rudolph Care products are currently transitioning from the Ecocert to the COSMOS certification – and over the course of 2017 all Rudolph Care products will carry the COSMOS Organic label.
