What’s best for me, and what should I choose?
It can be difficult to choose which skincare products to spend your money on when you haven’t tried them before – we know. Fortunately we also know which products deliver the best introductory experiences, so have a look at our starter set. Both you and your skin are going to love it.
Thick, whipped cream-texture cleansing foam that gets your skin clean and gorgeous without drying it out. It’s a great product for Rudolph Care beginners because it’s quite uncomplicated to use, both at the sink and in the shower, and it does exactly what you expect. Cleanses, smells amazing and transforms an otherwise dull part of your skincare routine into something you’ll look forward to.
If you’re really in doubt, try the travel size first.
Tiny, gentle grains of acai and apricot kernel wrapped in buttery balm are what go into our best-selling facial scrub. It’s also a great place to start because it gives you two functions in one product. Stimulating, revitalising and radiance-giving exfoliation combined with a softening, moisturising facial mask. And you’ll also get familiar with Rudolph Care’s love for the balm texture and naturally, our completely unique and delicate fragrance.
You can also try it in the travel size if you’re uncertain if you’ll like our version of moisture and radiance.
Facial Scrub makes an excellent companion for our Cleansing Foam. Not only because the cleansing foam makes the best preparation for exfoliation and the facial mask, but also because the two products can be combined into a unique ultra-moisturising and exfoliating cleansing experience.
Acai Facial Oil
Acai Facial Oil isn’t an inexpensive place to start, but it is the lushest and fastest route to an amazing experience – and of course, gorgeous skin. The dark oil features pure acai oil bursting with skin-optimising qualities that deliver moisture, radiance, balance and nourishment to all skin types. The oil is ideal for use under your day cream or sunscreen, but it can also be used alone as a night moisturiser.
The acai berries are sourced from the Amazon, and are hand-picked by the native Indians that live in the part of the jungle where the berries grow wild. It takes 100 kilograms of berries to make one litre of oil, so the oil is justifiably precious. Which is why the price is a bit on the higher side. But Acai Facial Oil is in a league of its own, and you will understand why the moment you try it on your own skin.
Body Lotion or Body Oil
If the body also needs pampering, it becomes a bit more difficult to choose a good starter product (we love them all!), but we have chosen to highlight our Body Lotion and Body Oil. Both products deliver unparalleled moisture and care to your skin, they have a delicate, subtle fragrance and they are simply pure pleasure to apply.
Body Lotion was one of the products that Andrea developed because she couldn’t find anything that suited all her requirements: intense moisture – especially for dry shins; an amazing texture that is neither greasy nor watery (as well as easy to apply), a delicate and luxurious fragrance, and of course organic and certified and thus free of harmful chemicals. After all, you put a lot of cream on your body. Body Lotion took almost two years to develop, but now it’s also perfect.
Body Oil follows the same recipe, but obviously has a whole different texture. It is an oil, but it does not leave a greasy residue and feels almost like a feather-light serum when applied to the skin. And it features the distinctive Rudolph Care fragrance, while leaving your skin saturated with moisture, healthy to look at and generally just comfortable to be in.
Essentials To Go
If you would like to try several products to see if there are any other must-haves, then our Essentials To Go box is a perfect solution. Here you get all of our cleansing products in travel size and a Facial Mist (refreshing, pore-tightening and balancing moisture spray) and a Hand & Body Soap (soft, foaming and fragrant body soap). Small sizes – just right for testing.
3 tips for making new skincare products work for you
Talk with the professionals where you buy your skincare products. They can quickly determine what you and your skin will benefit from most, just as they can also guide you on how to best use your products at home. If you shop online, then read the user instructions before you try the product, so you’re completely sure how to use it optimally.
Give it a little time, especially if you’ve been using other products or brands for a while. You get used to certain fragrances and textures, so sometimes new products can feel “wrong”. Spend at least a week with the new product before you decide whether it works for you, and allow your skin at least three weeks to respond to new oils, creams and serums. Visible change takes time.
Take it slowly. Don’t throw yourself into trying too many new things at once. Your skin will get confused and in the worst case scenario it may develop imbalances and issues, which may mean that you can’t discover which products you like and which seem to work for you. It’s important to take sufficient time to notice. Do the new products give you a good feeling, do they make you happy and do they feel fabulous? These feelings are what’s most important.
