I would never use anything other than our body lotion. It is simply fantastic. It absorbs easily without leaving a greasy residue, and it gives me luscious, hydrated skin so I don’t end up with lizard legs at the end of the day. I also know that there are no harmful chemicals that will get into my body, because that’s where the body lotion goes when the bottle is empty.
(… but I also can’t do without our Facial Oil. It gives you that perfect glow. Or our Body Balm, which is a total must-have, especially as an overnight mask. You can seriously see the difference in the morning, when the reward is radiant skin.)
If I’m no longer working at Rudolph Care someday, then the Acai Cleansing Milk is the product that I would always want to have on my shelf at home. I adore it. It can be used with and without water, it doesn’t sting, it takes off the worst “raccoon eyes”, it’s fragrance free and so gentle that even if you are a bit rough in rubbing off the makeup, it won’t give you red eyes.
(But then there’s also the Acai Body Lotion. It’s just incredibly good. Nothing less. Rich and concentrated, just enough scent not to drown out my own fragrance. Since using it I’ve found that many of the body lotions I previously (and more inexpensively) used were a bit sticky and “intrusive”. I’ve often wondered why so many people choose to spend so little on products that care for most of the body when the decision is whether to spend the most money on the body or face.)
It’s really difficult to choose only one product, because almost all of them are my favourites. But the uber-favourite must be the Acai Anti-ageing Serum, because I find that it really makes a difference. Especially with toning and tightening, but also because it minimises my pores – which is super important to me.
(Acai Facial Mist is another one that I need to mention. I’m mad about the tightening sensation it provides and I use it a lot throughout the day, and I also love the fragrance, which I am totally addicted to.)
The first time I tried our Anti-ageing Serum was back in March 2013, just after I had my first son. I’d taken a small lab sample home from the office to test it, and I became addicted from day one. The serum creates a beautiful, even-toned skin and delivers tons of moisture so the skin becomes so, so soft. I can really see the difference. It’s like getting a boost of energy. I use it every day under my day cream and the lovely delicate fragrance transports me right back to an absolutely magical time.
Sun Face Cream SPF 30 is the product that I would rather not live without. It’s moisturising enough to work as a day cream, the consistency is light yet rich and in no way greasy, and it gives my skin a lovely radiance that makes cosmetics redundant. But the best of all is that my skin doesn’t freak out and erupt into blemishes, which it has a tendency to do when a cream contains SPF.
(And if I had to choose two products, then the Anti-ageing Serum would also be on the list. It always goes under my sunscreen, because the two products are an excellent duo in the sun. My skin is recharged with smoothing, toning care and only gets better whenever I use the serum faithfully for a while.)
When I have enough time I love using my Acai Body Balm. I apply it to my entire body, but the best is when I pamper my feet with it. I massage my toes and rub in plenty of balm, and even though I’m only spending a few minutes doing it, I absolutely feel as though I’ve had a luxurious foot treatment.
My absolute favourite product is our Acai Anti-ageing Facial Oil, but it’s really hard to choose just one! The oil is the ultimate luxury for my skin. It creates the most gorgeous natural glow and my skin feels drenched with moisture all day long. I love that I can use it alone both morning and evening or under my moisturiser, if my skin needs it. The oil absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy film like some other oils can.
Acai Anti-ageing Facial Oil is the product that I really wouldn’t want to live without. It always gives my skin the ultimate in radiance and suppleness. I love that it can be used both alone and together with other face products. Usually, I use a serum under the oil, but when I travel and am taking along the absolute minimum, it’s just the oil and the Sun Face Cream SPF 30 that I make sure to pack.
My favourite is the Acai Cleansing Foam. I adore the feeling it gives – of soft foam and clean, fresh skin. I even took it along when I sailed around the world, and I can report that it’s useful for cleansing everything, and it’s also super concentrated so a little goes a long way.
My favourite is the Acai Cleansing Foam. I always remove my makeup and cleanse my skin while I shower in the evening. I press two pumps of foam into my hands and then massage my face. Then I just rinse my face with water and my skin is completely clean and free of makeup. It’s so easy, and it’s a lovely feeling to go to sleep on.
(Blossom Shampoo is also a favourite. It makes my hair so soft, leaves my scalp with a good conscience and smells simply fantastic. It’s a must-have!)
I can’t live without Acai Facial Scrub Mask in my beauty routine! I’ve used the gentle scrub and mask for several years – quite some time before I began working at Rudolph Care. Since my skin is a tad delicate and dries out easily, it’s important for me to choose mild but effective cleansing products. Acai Facial Scrub Mask gently exfoliates my skin and leaves it clean and full of renewed energy. The tiny acai berry and apricot micro granules encourage cellular renewal and remove dead skin cells, giving the skin a beautiful glow. The Scrub Mask is also packed with hydrating oils and shea butter, which give my skin a deep-penetrating moisture treatment – the perfect combo for my slightly delicate skin. I use it once a week and allow the micro granules to work their magic for 10 minutes as a moisturising mask before rinsing it off. And voilà: lovely, fresh radiance and hydrated clean skin!
Acai Body Scrub is my favourite. It’s wonderfully easy to use and transforms into a milky foam when it comes into contact with water. The scrub glides easily off the body when it’s done its work, leaving the skin soft, refined and moisturised. I think it’s the best body scrub there is.
And Andrea’s favourite?
Acai Anti-ageing Facial Oil is the essential anti-age product and cornerstone of Rudolph Care. Both in the products, because the acai berries and their oil are used in most of them, but also because it’s the oil that makes us sustainable. I have visited the 200 Indians in the Amazon jungle who pick the berries and sell them to us. We also support their local school and are helping to educate the children. We teach them about the importance of preserving the rainforest – both for themselves but also for the planet. It may be a little trite, but the rainforest is known as “the lungs of the planet”. I’ve always been crazy about the facial oil, but after going to visit the people of the rainforest, I am now transported back there every time I use the product. Back then things were a bit tough with Rudolph Care; we weren’t making money and the future was uncertain, to say the least, but I remember thinking that no matter what happened, I had to keep the facial oil alive. Acai Anti-ageing Facial Oil is simply the heart of Rudolph Care.
