Skin tips from makeupartist Anne Staunsager

… today our work as official beauty at Copenhagen Fashion Summit begins, and as usual we’ve teamed up with a squad of talented makeupartists who’ll provide gorgeous skin for all speakers. One of the talented ladies is Anne Staunsager – read on as she lets you in on a few skin tips and a special Rudolph tip.

”Starting from scratch, it’s quite important that you exfoliate your skin 1-2 times a week in order to remove dead skin cells regularly and maintain an even, soft and groomed surface. Exfoliated skin is the ideal base for makeup, and therefore it’s always my rule no. 1.”

"Gorgeous skin is skin that lives and glows. And after all, the way to a gorgeous glow all depends on the level of moisture in your skin. Fully moisturized skin under makeup is endlessly important for a beautiful, even result. Especially when using foundation the skin condition is crucial. To me, a shiny glowing look is far more attractive than a matte look. It simply brings more life and naturalness to the skin when it looks well-groomed and healthy - even with makeup on.”

”A tiny Rudolph tip for the makeup routine is actually to pat a very small amount of Acai Facial Oil onto your cheek bones and nose bridge after applying your foundation. You don’t need much at all – warm it up between your finger tips and pat it onto the mentioned spots. You won’t look nor feel greasy, because the oil is absorbed instantly – however you’ll end up with extremely beautiful skin, natural glow and a natural look in general.”
